Club History

The club was the realization of 3 influential local Lache footballers, Shane Lloyd, Dale Gilmartin and Paul Davies. They made the decision to enter the CDFL Saturday league for season 2010-2011 & Lache FC was born.

Enjoying life in the first season in the CDFL Division 3 with numerous trips up to the Wirral where they won 13 out of 18 league games and were beaten semi finalist in the CDFL Roodee Web Designs Tom Gerraghty cup. By finishing 3rd in the league the club experienced promotion in the first season into division 2.

The beginning of the 2011- 2012 season saw Lache FC bring in the experienced services of current manager Andy Dutton. This was a masterstroke from the board in securing the services of  such a local footballing legend in & around the Chester area. As the new manager Andy set about getting the lads into shape rapidly, in preparation for the season ahead and what a season Lache FC was in for. Having played 20 league games, Lache FC were successful in winning 18 of the 20 games played, drawing one and losing one. An amazing 123 league goals were scored along the way. On the cup front Lache reached two finals at the Exacta Stadium, winning both the Challenge cup and the CDFL Roodee Web Designs Tom Gerraghty cup. At the league AGM Lache were also awarded the Ted Moulton trophy for fair play & good administration.

The 2012-2013 season was a roller coaster winning 18 out of 20 games with two games finishing as draws, making it an unbeaten season in the league. In the cups Lache won both the Challenge cup & CDFL Roodee Web Designs Tom Gerraghty cup making it another season as triple winners.

The first season in the CDFL Premier Division could not have gone much better seeing them at the top for most of the season and finishing as champions. Lache also won the CDFA Senior Cup and the CDFL League Cup making it another treble and another incredible chapter in the clubs history.
